I am flip flopping between two of my field components- my independent study and my visit to Amboseli, one of Kenya's many national parks. I wrote about Amboseli earlier in my posts but I never showed any pictures- which were the best part!
The elephants go marching one by one hurra!
So majestic!
We rode around in our own safari cars. Zebras are passing in from of the road!
The animal kingdom. We stopped for lunch on top of this hill- away from the animals of course and had this wonderful view!
We saw this female lion right as we were leaving the park, how lucky! We didn't expect to see any of the big cats during our safari because it was so hot out.
This picture is taken from an elephant orphanage. This is a blind rhino.
Mamma and baby posing for the camera.
Outrages!
The giraffe eating in action, they're so tall!
Wildebeest
Some cool lookin bird. East Africa is filled with beautiful birds!
This picture is actually taken from a park near Nairobi- the skyline is in the back, how cool! Two worlds combined: the animal kingdom and the human industries.
Zebras!
